What is the Trust Fund for?
The Trust Fund is to meet expenses incurred in Terri's extensive care
requirements and to provide some degree of financial security for Terri in the
years ahead, particularly as the depth and extent of the support Terri will
need is unclear.

How are decisions about spending
funds made?
All spending of Trust funds must be "in the interests of Terri..." and must be
by a unanimous decision of the Trustees.

What are funds spent on?
As well as a series of medically related expenses, items covered by the Fund include the purchase of wigs and specially made shoes and clothes. More detailed information can be obtained from Geraldine Thompson.

How much money is in the Trust Fund?
As of October 2003 the Fund stood at approximately £160,000.
The Trust was set up in 1999 with the original aim of raising £5,000 to meet
Terri's immediate needs in the aftermath of the fire. Over the next four years
the fund grew to some £100,000. In the three or four months after the 'Being
Terri' documentary was aired on television in the UK on 9th June 2003
approximately £60,000 was donated to the Trust by people all over the UK.
